Lehigh Valley: Apple Festival at the Orchard
Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 10:55PM Since about the beginning of August I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Autumn and now it's finally here! You may remember my visit to the Lavender Farm back in June. Well ever since then, I've had this idea that I wanted to pick apples this fall. I was determined to find an opportunity to make this happen!
Last week I found out about a local Apple Festival at a nearby orchard and I convinced Justin and my parents to go apple picking with me! We had a great time, and I love that everyone was so excited---we made such a good apple-picking team!
Here are a few shots from our afternoon...

When we got back with our apples, we made homemade applesauce! We also have apple butter to enjoy, and plenty leftover to make a pie!
With the arrival of Fall... the holidays are right around the corner. Portrait sessions are booking up fast! If you would like to schedule a session for you and/or your family contact me to reserve a date today!

Love these pictures. They just make me want to bite into a big juicy apple!
Oh! We are so excited to go apple picking. And by we, I mean me : ) My poor kid gets so tired of doing all these fun things in the spirit of photojournalism! Oh well! Hopefully it will be fantastically fun for both of us! LOVE the shots you got. Gorgeous. What is prettier than a barn in the fall? I can't think of a thing! Congratulations on being one of the winners in the photography division! Really fantastic!
