Studio Update & Photos From The Adirondack Mountains

The autumn season is here and the leaves have been changing colors. Last week I spent some time up in the Adirondack mountains hiking, photographing, and just breathing in fresh air.  The colors had already changed more significantly up there than here in Pennsylvania. The vibrant burst of color really enhanced the hikes for me, and part of me wishes I was still there! As I work my way through all of the images that I captured, I'll be sharing more on the blog over the next few weeks. 

Also, for those of you who do not already know, I'm happy to share that my painting for the Baum Gala sold! I will be adding paintings and drawings to my shop so make sure you check back to get a glimpse of my latest work. 

Finally, I had a compact flash card fail on me while I was away in the mountains. I checked in with some people in my photography circle who recommended card rescue, which worked like a charm! I just wanted to share this in case anyone else wanted to check it out, it worked for me and I'm happy to have my photos back from one of the hikes. 

Just one more for the road... while away I had what was probably the most delicious pumpkin spiced ale from the Great Adirondack Steak and Seafood in Lake Placid. If you are in the area definitely worth a pit stop!
