SPRING EVOLUTION

"No matter how chaotic it is, wildflowers will still spring up in the middle of nowhere." -Sheryl Crow

This early Spring weather is astounding. JB and I went for a walk around the neighborhood two nights ago at 8pm in short sleeved t-shirts! The fresh air feels fantastic, and I can actually hear birds chirping outside of my open windows. The breeze gently flowing through the house feels like a wonderful visit from a long lost friend! While I do love winter, I am ready for this weather. I took some time today to photograph some of the flowers blooming on the tree in front of our home. This tree is one of my favorite parts of our yard because it seems delicate in the spring with all of it's beautiful pink color.

I've been a little quiet lately, but tremendously busy. Bookings for upcoming portraits, new paintings, and some other fun projects have all been in the studio pipeline. I've been teaching at the art school as well and I wish I had about 48 hours in every day! Evolution feels like my word for Spring between the beautiful days and all of my studio plans for this year. Here are a few updates:

  • Portraits are booking for Spring! If you would like to have family portraits or to commission work, please contact me. To get a glimpse at some of my previous work check out my gallery or check out my page on facebook.
  • Photography Classes are running! Would you like to learn more about photography and your camera? I am teaching classes at the art school. Register today for kids and adults! Classes start towards the end of April, reserve your spot today!

Even though things have been hectic, I'm still trying to steal moments to enjoy this beautiful early Spring. I also have more news and updates on their way so check back in for additional information! What are your plans for this early spring weather?
