Huge Turnout for Walking The Edge - Allentown Chen Arts Group Show

Saturday night was the Allentown Chen Arts Group Art show---Walking The Edge, at the Antonio Salemme Foundation. It was a success with a large attendance!  You can read more about this show on the Morning Call website here.

I wanted to say a personal thank you to all of our family and friends who came out to this event to support local artists and our studio. I appreciate your continued support! 

Guests enjoyed refreshments, appetizers, and live music as they viewed work by over thirty artists who participated in this show.  I had a new painting in this show that I will be adding to the bodamer | studio gallery. 

I was especially proud of this show because I helped to coordinate it with three other amazing ladies!

Bodamer Studio: Commission Work - Painting, Photography, Illustration

In keeping with my new year theme (Part 3 - Favorite Photos of 2011 is on its way!) I wanted to post an announcement today! As some of you know, some of my creative work is now available for purchase at my online store.

However, commission work is also available. Here is a piece I worked on for a patron from before the holidays:

Additionally, I am excited about some new projects for 2011. More on that coming soon! And I will also be adding some content to the blog for readers such as how to's, creative inspiration, information, etc, so stay tuned!

What: The Chen Arts Group's group show "Walking the Edge" 

Where: Antonio Salemme Foundation, 542 W. Hamilton Street, 2nd floor. (Accessible entrance at rear of building) 

When: Saturday 1/22 at 7 p.m.

Details: This is the group's first themed show. All works are new---created within the last year. Live music provided by saxophonist/vocalist Gary Hassay and acoustic bassist Michael Bisio. Refreshments will be available to guests and this event is free to the public.
