An Unusual October Storm - Photos In The Snow Before Halloween

It's been a challenging week. We had family go to the hospital in an emergency situation, I've been running around trying to do everything I can this week, and JB has been doing the same. I meant to decorate the house for Halloween, to run some errands, and a myriad of other things on my to do list, but never found the time. Sometimes priorities just shift and you have to be ok with what you can do when you are doing your best.
Today I woke up to snow. I love winter, so that was a nice way to start the weekend. I decided to just spend some time relaxing outside with the dogs and took some of their photos. Maybe a few will make it onto the holiday cards this year.

I feel like when things happen... such as a surprise snow storm in October, I'm reminded of how amazing life can really be and that you never know what is waiting around the corner for you but whatever it is, even if it is unexpected, it could be incredible.
