Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 11:28PM The new year is off to a great start! I've had some beautiful portrait sessions, started teaching an intro to photography class at a local craft store, and I've been participating in an annual creative sprint with other artists on Thing-a-Day.
But my latest effort is actually the subject of my post today, and that is the new and improved gallery! I separated the gallery into different sections focusing on specific types of portraits. I have also updated them with some of my latest work.

Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 8:17AM One of my recent sessions was for someone I know who is very talented. Intelligent, kind, and hardworking, she wanted to get some portraits done that would reflect her personality as well as make a nice gift for her family. She plays the piano beautifully, so we decided to incorporate that into some of the sessions. What was really interesting about this session, was that she was actually playing the piano while I was photographing, it was very cool that she was doing something she loves, and that I had the opportunity capture that for her in a creative way, here is a sneak peek...
It was a beautiful day outside as well, so we took some shots by the lake. It was hard to pick a few favorites from the session because she was so easy to work with and I had a lot of fun, so there were many shots to choose from. Enjoy! :)
