One of my favorite things about photography is capturing a moment and knowing that the photograph is going to mean something to myself, my family, or even to my friends. This past weekend I had a photo session with a family and not only was it fun, but I felt like I captured some really beautiful moments in the life of their child. I can't wait to share them here on the blog!

It has been so warm this week, and I keep hoping for rain but so far no luck. It seems like everything is drying out and all I can think about is water. I have friends who have been spending their summer at the beach, and other friends who have been going to the pool. For me... I keep dreaming of the Adirondack lakes and how amazingly beautiful they are! I wish I could escape the heat and jump into this scene...
